Adding and editing individual contacts

With your Flightdeck membership, you’re able to add and link clients to your personal dashboard to help you keep track of your sales activity and get insight into your new leads and how well they are converting.

In this section, you can add individual clients, keep track of their details (such as their mobile number and email address), link them to the appropriate company and view upcoming opportunities with this client.  

Here, we’ll help you carry out all these functions in Flightdeck.  

Access the Individual Contacts Page

Dashboard overview

Once you’ve logged into your account, you’ll arrival at the dashboard.

Here, you should be able to navigate to all your membership tools and benefits.  

Find ‘CRM’ dropdown:  

From here, use the side navigation on the left-hand side of the page to find the ‘CRM’ menu.

Then, click on the ‘CRM’ dropdown menu to reveal further options.  

From the expanded menu, select ‘Individual Contacts’. This will take you to the area where you can manage individual contact profiles.

Add new individual clients

Now that you’ve arrived on the ‘Individual Contacts page, you can begin the contact creation process.  

To begin, click on the ‘Create Individual’ button, which you can find in the right-hand corner of the page.

Create an individual client

Clicking the ‘Create Individual’ button will prompt a panel to appear on the right-hand side of the page. Here, you can enter all the necessary details of the new client you wish to add.

You can add information, including the client’s name, email address, mobile number, and the type of individual they are.  

Complete the entry

Once you’ve added all the applicable information, select the ‘Next’ button from the bottom of the panel.  

Here, you will see an overview of the information you’ve inputted and if it’s all filled out correctly, a success message will appear.  

To complete the process, click the ‘Done’ button to finalise the new addition and close the panel.  

The new contact will now appear at the top of the table on the ‘Individual Contacts’ page, making it easy to access their profile.  

Editing an Individual Contact

After a new individual has been added, you may wish to edit their details. To do so, on the ‘Individual Contacts’ page locate the table listing each client.

Then, you can browse the table to find the contact you would like to edit.  

Initiate editing

To start editing the client, simply click on their name shown in the table. This will open their profile.

Alternatively, you can hover over the contact’s row and select the information icon (represented by an ‘i’) to directly access the client's profile.

Modify Individual Contact Details

Once you’ve arrived on the contact’s profile, you can begin to make changes.

To start, locate the ‘Details’ section. This should appear as the first section on the left-hand side of the screen.  

Then, click the ‘Edit’ button located in the top right corner of the ‘Details’ section.  

You should now be able to see a panel on the right side of the screen.

Make your changes

In the slide-out panel, you should be able to see the contact details in an editable view. Here, you can modify any of the fields that appear.

Once you’ve made any changes, click the ‘Save Changes’ button at the bottom of the panel to apply the updates.
